We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex software development projects, particularly in web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
• Lead stakeholder management efforts, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
• Identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks, provide guidance, and resolve conflicts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as project management, business administration, or engineering is typically preferred. A master’s degree can be an added advantage.
• A project management certification such as CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is preferred.
• Extensive experience in project management, including leading complex projects and managing project teams.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Domain-specific knowledge and experience within the industry or sector of the projects being managed.
• Proven track record of successful project leadership, demonstrating the ability to drive teams and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in building collaborative relationships, working effectively in cross-functional teams, and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, navigate uncertainties, and thrive in dynamic project environments.
