Your Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate for quality practices including the development of automated testing to improve business processes.
• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing cloud based system environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of deployed systems.
• Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
• Follow configuration standards for software and infrastructure.
• Manage CI & CD tools and pipeline as a partner to development and QA teams.
• Recommend, develop and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, configuration management and security.
• Oversight of critical incidents and major system escalations from initiation to resolution.
• Create mechanisms/architectures that enable fault tolerance and rapid recovery from failure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience
• Graduate of computer science is preferred but not mandatory (depends on the CV and skills)

The Ideal Candidate should have

• Extensive experience in Linux and Windows operating systems in the context of infrastructure management, CI/CD pipelines, and system optimization.
• Advanced expertise in cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Google Cloud, and experience in AWS or Azure, including provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, or EKS), with a focus on automated scaling and deployment strategies.
• Strong skills in infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), leveraging tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation to build and maintain scalable and reliable environments.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, including designing and implementing continuous integration, delivery, and deployment workflows.
• Solid expertise in monitoring and logging solutions, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver), with a focus on proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with security best practices in DevOps, including implementing secure infrastructure, managing secrets, and conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Proven experience in workload migrations to the cloud, including application modernization and optimizing legacy systems for cloud-native environments.
• Advanced expertise in disaster recovery and high availability solutions, particularly in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages for automation and tooling, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong understanding of networking in cloud and on-premises environments, including VPCs, load balancers, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to document and streamline processes in complex enterprise environments, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
